A definite improvement in speed from 7. I DON'T like the cloud garbage though! Someone joked yesterday about 8 being a web based OS - funny... but too close to reality to be too humorous. |

Its easy to get to the regular desktop from the damn touch app. Win 8 sucks donkey balls. I love my Linux Mint Debian Edition! Marxism is the true enemy of our civilization. You WILL end up thinking it's not that bad. get used to it ? NO I don't have to get used to anything let microsoft get used to me using XP not just any xp LAST XP (google it) |

Windows 8 is fast and highly customizable. BackTrack 5 is a hackers wet dream. Dual booting Windows 8 + BackTrack 5 R3 = 1337. 'Nuff said. Anonymous Coward User ID: 1503721 United States 12/07/2012 11:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'll be sticking with windows7 for the next few years at least.... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28870983 I think that's gonna be the case for most folks. Too bad MS listened to a bunch of hipster-doofuses when they were planning 8. 8 is still good, but it could have been great for only $40.00. As it is, most people are going to stick with 7 because they don't want the trouble of figuring 8 out. So it's not about the money here at all. MS really screwed the pooch on this one... |

Yes, XP is great too, but it eventually going to be unusable without support. |

Windows 8 Pro - Pirated/Activated AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-53 1.7 Ghz 3 GB ram 320 GB HDD - 200GB to Windows, the rest to BackTrack. Used easyBCD for dual-booting.
