It is true that there was destruction of Damascus after the first prediction but then it was predicted 2 or more times after it got destroyed the first time. Therefore, it must still come to pass to be destroyed again.

No, Jacob is referring to Israel and what's about to happen there right now, any day now. But just read the next chapter, Isa.18 and you'll find the remainder of the tribes of Israel hinted at. I believe they're 'the present' mentioned in Isa.18:7.

Read Jer.50-51 also because it gives the details of all this happening at the destruction of Damascus.(Jer.49:24) Jer.50:45,49-50 detail that at the destruction of the USA(Babylon), the jews living here will come out of the midst of her and flee to Jerusalem. That's when all the jews will finally be back in the land.

I don't know about USA being cut down simultaneeously but I believe the USA and all nations of the world are going to fall and have total chaos to bring in the One World Government scheme by the antichrist. So, I think that we are the last generation, just too many signs being fulfilled more than any other time and Jesus made reference to Israel becoming a nation and that not another generation shall come to pass without his return. Thus, one can assume that as of 1948 that this generation from that year is the last generation. The question is "what is the length of time of a generation?" I believe that the length of a generation is the length of time that is the ag=verage life expectancy for the people of that time. Some bible characters lived to be hundreds of years old like Noah and Moses, or Abraham and others maybe only in their 30's. It appears that our generation's life expectancy is about 75-100 years old or so. Thus, my guess is that Jesus will make his return within 100 years after Israel became a nation, that being no later than the year 2048. So, Jesus can return very, very soon. Within the next 36 years or less. My guess is that it is going to be much less than 36 years.

If that city fell it was because Jerusalem fell at the same time, as in the list in Jer:25. Perhaps the order of the list is how the dominoes begin to fall, or the path the 'big boot' takes in reclaiming the earth. Nor is it a snapshot as it covers the globe and many cities fall.

The valley has the river of Eze:47 in it so it is about 12,000 ft wide just to the two shores. The graveyard of Gog will be there in the valley also, I wonder what would be the route the 'river of blood' would take to be a continuous line containing the blood from the 200M angelic horsemen 200 miles long and it can go uphill.
