Wasn't there a 5.5 within Taupo just this past October? Thread: Yellowstone is busy today AND also a 5.5 magnitude Taupo Volcanic Zone... Now a 6.3? I'd be packing up and LEAVING the North Island right about now! Its about to blow, Krakatoa style! That whole North Island is gonna be blasted clean apart and the whole world is gonna feel it when it happens and God have mercy on any one whose still on that island when it goes! Hatepe Eruption version 2.0 is imminent! Pack your bags and get off that North Island now! Wasn't there a 5.5 within Taupo just this past October? Absolutely not feasible to get everyone of it. In any case earthquakes are not the really big danger in New Zealand its all the bloddy volcanoes. 64 so called extinct volcanoes in Auckland alone. Now if one of them blows its top then we have problems.
