If a driver spins out for any reason, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) will ticket you with 'driving to fast for conditions'. Even if you have chains on and were not speeding. If you hit anything, even a traffic cone, it's an extra $175. Quoting: deanoZXT yep |

Next time you need a cop to come save your butt instead of dialing 911 call a hippy .. then get back with us I mean... they are legally required to apprehend criminals. So if someone is attacking you... this makes them a criminal. And the cop is legally required to catch that man. But is the cop legally required to defend you? I know the cop would be penalized by the police force if they performed in a manner that put you in jeapordy or whatever. But are cops actually required by law to defend or to help us? Or are they only required by law to help us by apprehending criminals? |

In Virginia we have Click it or Ticket for your safety. Bullshit, it's all about fishing for bigger fines (DWI's, pot possession, your property, whatever). The only thing police are interested in saving is their revenue stream. |

If Washington follows other places that has legalized pot the crime rate will drop. Less police will be needed and the ones that stay will be held to a higher standard when they have to do real police work like keeping the peace. Also the large budget for drug enforcement will be cut and since the narcs don't have any other skills you should have plenty of burger flippers and french fryers for when you get the munchies. Quoting: BULLY! BULLY! Another thing that might cut the police force is the auto industry. There is talk that they want to make cars that do not require a human driver. You just program where you want to go and it takes you there using GPS I guess. After I read that story I began to have my doubts that the government would ever allow them to do that. I mean, how can a cop give you a ticket if you were not driving? How can you ticket a computer? All that ticket money would dry up and I would think traffic tickets were they number one revenue scam. . |

Quoting: BULLY! BULLY! FYI: In Washington State medical and recreational marijuana is legal. Up to an ounce for recreational. Not sure on the medical laws. For many years pot possession has been a low priority in the state. Especially western part of the state and the Seattle area for sure.
