Oh look it's already happening. Excuse me I'm talking to you could you stop looking at your phone for one second ? what's that in your ear ? Are you downloading some new program to your Brian ? No. Not that you KNOW of . just listening to a song...? Hmmm riiiight. It's happening. not a minute to early. I can't wait to shed this skin suit. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9266723 Everything on earth is constantly evolving. ^^ This. Evolution is not about 'optimization'. Do I think that we, as a species, act in a way that maximizes our potential? Not often. Capitalism, fear, and ego tend to get in the way. |

They have allowed us to live at warp speed for the last 150 years or so. Like a crack high, it feels good but erodes fundamental health. The good news is they will run out sometime in the next couple of hundred years and then it will be back to business as normal: small communities, lower population, traditional values, and so on. Getting from here to there is going to be hairy because there will be a huge die-off but the will come out stronger and healthier on the other side. |

I hope you're right with your recovery diagnosis. One of the saddest elements of this is that the people (and animals) that didnt use any crack feel (and will continue to feel) the symptoms of withdrawal the most strongly. |

This time though, it's not a single king. And most of them have nothing to do with monarchy, only wealth with power. Shortly after this passes, the best is yet to come. Beyond what most can imagine, actually. Quoting: Mr. Know-it-all 3064002 Well that's a plutocracy, Pluto has always existed behind that Piscean monarchy disguise for about 2k years. It will continue to exist btw, though under 'one world government' scheme now in the age of Aquarius. |

It would be nice of we were a kinder creature, but then we would not be what we are. Maybe we will evolve into something different, but probably not because we are now in process of taking some controls of our future evolution. |
