Occultists and secret society members and all those of that ilk are usually some of the most arrogant self serving SOBs that have ever walked the planet. They usually leave death and destruction in their wake.

Just look at the miserable life of their great hero, satanist, pedophile, drug addict Aleister Crowley. The man died penniless, and addicted to heroin. Here's a man who didn't even bother to disturb his comfort to leave his tent, when a landslide swept away his porters on one of his failed attempts to climb Mt. Everest.

Rose Kelly, Crowley's wife went insane and spent her days in a mental asylum. Most of his lovers both male and female shared a similar fate and many of his followers committed suicide. His own daughter, whom he had molested repeatedly, died at age 4.

We can then look at the tragedy deaths and selfish acts of some of his followers who are almost worshiped today. Folks like John Lennon, Jimmy Page, L. Ron Hubbard, Jim Morrison etc.

Mystical 'knowledge' is about as useful as a paper mache axe. I'll take Jesus, the Son of a God who actually loves us, any day over this misery.

Did the OP accidentally link to the wrong video? There wasn't anything Satanistic about that video. It was lame and trampy, trashy, etc, but nothing on the scale of that Nicki Minaj thing at that awards show, not even close to what Madonna has been doing for 20 years, burning crosses and things. Besides, people always think in terms of Christianity. You have to be a Christian to be a Satanist, otherwise you don't believe in Satan to worship Satan.

That's an excellent point, but isn't the converse true also? If someone intends to have those symbols influence people in a negative way and those people aren't able to actively reject it in the way you talk about, isn't it possible for that negative effect to be real?

Yeah it's really sad to see all those youngsters being lured down the road to hell.
