I remember when a back of smokes were 30 cents.
Man, I'm beginning to feel old!
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28832234 I can remember the cigarette vending machines. Quoting: Hardwired When I was a flight attendant in the mid 60's, we handed out cigarettes on the planes while inflight! I think there were 4 or 5 cigarettes per pack. Quoting: nutmeg They handed those out at our elemetary school halloween party in Tulsa Oklahoma. They let me have a handful of samples "for my parents" that didn't even smoke. I smoked them. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5676214 LOL I "learned" to smoke in nursing school after high school. Mostly everyone in my class did and the doctors did, too. Then I married a smoker. After 15 years of smoking, I quit. They still allowed smoking on the airplanes, and I thought I would die working coast to coast flights with all the smoke I breathed in. I'd get to the hotel and coughed all night with pain in my lungs. I was soooo thankful when two members of Congress stopped the madness and banned smoking on planes. First and last time I was ever grateful for liberals! lol
