I remember my dad saying he once missed 27 out of 25 on a test. When he asked the teacher how that could be she told him the date was wrong and his name was misspelled. It's a joke but it's meant to tell you to double check everything. The welfare of humanity is always the alibi of tyrants. Albert Camus It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master. Ayn Rand The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who in times of great moral crises maintain their neutrality Dante |

The stuff is cake if you can visualize it in your head...you just kind of "see it." The thing of geometry is that it builds from the beginning. If you didn't study yourself at the beginning of the year/semester...then you need to begin studying from there. Get off GLP, start at the beginning...and make sure you understand the stuff before you move on! If you have the time and money...go get an "outline/guide" available at most book stores. If you are having problems understanding a section...look on-line for a tutorial on the subject matter! Now - get busy!!! We are counting on you to pass! |

Teachers will work with you sometimes when you struggle. But if you KNOW you're not going to get anywhere near an A, then don't bother. It's just a waste of your time and is going to leave you disappointed. The same thing happened to me in school one year, actually. I had to get 100 to pass the class. I took the test anyway, actually, but it was a waste of time. I got like a 72 on it and didn't pass. I took the class again next semester and got an A since I already remembered the stuff from before. See, that's another thing you need to consider. Even if you pass, you will only have a C. You probably want a better grade than a C, so you might as well ditch the test and just enroll in the same class next semester and go for a real A. |
