I used to shower every day, not anymore. op is right. dr bronners is the only soap i will use when i do shower. i know everyone may think i smell or its gross, i believe the opposite. if you stop showering yes you will smell for about a month or so,then things change. dont tell me im used to the smell, im not. cant explain it, its like youre skin and hair detox or something over a month. last shower i had was before doing firewood, i sweated and i smelled, my clothes got wet with moisture from sweat and stank. if i didnt shower that wouldnt of happened, i do firewood daily, so i know. my hair is wonderful now, my skin is soft. hey i bet if i showered my siberian huskies everyday they would smell, and i bet their hair wouldnt be waterproof anymore either, and would probably fall out. my opinion most soaps shampoos are poison that rob natural oils of the skin and hair, if anyone takes any advice from this thread i would say try bronners, its amazing. get rid of youre alcahol shampoos that strip youre hair and skin , and ask youreself why healthy dogs that eat healthy food smell so good. my dogs eat mackerel,salmon, and origen dog food fron canada. they smell so fresh, hair etc amazing.
