Issues of morality are personal and the individual knows what feels right for that person though we all do seem to have a similar baseline. It is written that God has given us free will to choose- therefore, in a sense, you are right, God will not stop this. It is our choice to choose whether to stop or not. When we are ready, the love and care from God Almighty will embrace us every step of the way. And yes, we will fall and stumble and reject God over and over again, but with more humility, requesting God's Loving presence to guide and bless us. To heal us from our pain. To help us to give up everything to change our lives to be more loving and to follow God's Will which is more loving and caring. When we finally choose God's Love fully and unconditionall, then God intervenes and takes over our whole heart and our whole being - guiding us every step of the way. |

Agree, OP. When we abandon God, we open ourselves up to unimaginably evil influences as we are seeing now. People are asking how God could've allowed this. This act wasn't His will, it was ours. WE are responsible for what's happening to our youth today. Look at what influences our kids. They given a steady diet of violence and perversion. The TV shows they watch, the video games, the "music" videos--all extremely violent. They are told there is no "right or wrong." Drug use is condoned--viewed more as a "right of passage" than a dangerous mind-altering influence.They have grown up knowing little if anything of the God who made them and loves them. Our youth have no moral compass. More kids are psychologically imbalanced in America than at any time previously. WE have failed these kids--utterly. We collectively suffer as a nation increasingly as God is pushed further and further away from us. Things will get hotter from this point on indeed. GOD never intended for this to be our reality. WE chose this for ourselves. |
