You sound a bit committed to leaving. Allow yourself a little more time. Sometimes it helps to think about how others feel too. Those around you are also hurting. Your leaving them would make their lives also unbearable.

Make the effort to make them feel better and it will bring you up from the bottom as well. Forget the churchy guidance. It is just a business with a lot of salesmen. Your heart should be your first guide.

Look at your cats as little innocents who need your help and protection. Give yourself that responsibility. What would happen to their little lives without you? They have only unconditional love for you. Would you take that from them? Think of your granddaughter…she needs more of your time to teach her caring and understanding. You are a caring person; you must share and teach it. It is your job.

Time is the healer. Give yourself some time...fill it with acts for others. See your value in the lives of others. Turn off the TV and look to your home and making it safer and storing a few supplies in case something happens. It can be a kind of therapy. It will give you some security and lessen the fear...of fear.

Think for yourself as you are greater than you think. In the long run you will be prouder of how you took strength from utter unhappiness.

I WENT to the ER and got a bill for $500 bucks... Easier to lay down and let go. They are hounding me every day when I told them I had no job (thanks,obutthole),no money and no insurance.

Sorry to say, but you're playing right into the devils hands.

You must forgive even horrible people like this Adam Lanza or it will keep you from getting close to God and seeing the purpose behind continuing to serve God.

This hatred for the hate to the point of wishing and pronouncing death on those who have done some terrible crime will keep you very depressed. More importantly, it interferes with the soul communion between you and God.

Try actually praying for ALL your enemies instead of wishing death on them and see if you don't start to feel better.

That said, it is a very trying time as I know we are leading up to the culmination of the end, but it probaby wont be until late this century.

I too had grown depressed until several years ago when I finally realized what was causing it. It wasn't the mess my life had become, or the realization I would probaby never marry, it was the hate I had in my heart for all the evil sinners like this Adam Lanza, and wishing them dead.

When I repented before God and let that hatred go, I immediately felt different, like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I was no longer depressed, and even though I too could "fly away" at any day, I have a rerally hard time staying in a depressed state any longer.

So please give it a try ms. meow, I guarantee it will help you immensely and make life much more meaningful.

The ER can't turn you away if you don't have insurance, and if you're going to die what do you care if you run up a bill? I take it you've got cancer. Won't your doctor prescribe you pain meds? If not I'd find one that would. There's no point in you suffering during what time you have left.

You need to make peace with yourself and let go of the things that are causing you all the mental anguish you're going though now. I contracted a potentially fatal disease several years ago and have lived longer than I thought I would. I was full of hate and anger to the point that it was eating me up on the inside. I had to learn to let things go and when I did it was like the weight of the world had been lifted from my shoulders. This is no way to spend your last days on Earth.

I hope you don't find me insensitive because I'm not trying to cause you any more pain than you're already going though.

I live in Missouri and they have signs on the wall of the ER that state they cannot deny you care if you don't have insurance.

They also have a policy on charitable cases if you can meet the criteria:


(This) Hospital is also committed to a program of charity assistance for qualified patients who have received or will receive medically necessary hospital services. If you need or have had hospital services and believe you may meet at least two of the qualifications listed below:

You may meet charity care qualifications if:

You are insured with coverage that is inadequate to pay for the hospital service but do not have the ability to pay the balance.

You are uninsured without the ability to pay for hospital services.

Your family income is below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.

Your spendable income allowance is less than 5% of the balance owed the hospital on a month to month basis. Spendable income allowance defined as income available for payment after consideration for the following:

Mortgage or rent expense

Utilities

Car payment/transportation costs

Food

Uninsured medications

Child support and daycare

Insurance for auto, health and property


You have total assets available to pay hospital expenses worth less than $2,000 with the following exceptions:

You can demonstrate a verifiable inability to borrow the funds needed to eliminate the account balance.
