Not my kind of flick, I have to admit - but I know a whole slew who are going to see it this weekend. I heard bad shit about it, good to know they may not have wasted their money...

How about LOTR IV in VR I-MAX(all the ones killed get 'fixed' and come back as the looked before the 'ring' was taken off God's head as 'no crowns in the house rule', Satan just had to try it out) You run the camera view in the home version.

Did you know there was a 'Hobbit' out many years ago, the first part was cartoon only and part two has silhouette of horses in stampeded mode.

But honestly, Jackson is milking this fucker. I've read the Hobbit, Silmarillion, and the Trilogy over 30 times in my life, and they are perfect as they are. 3 movies to cover one book is clearly greed, not an attempt at bringing a classic to the big screen.

Haha me and my girlfriend just saw it too, just looked up there making 3 parts to the movie... Mad they couldn't just put it all into one.

One movie? no way man the story is way too involved to be crammed into one movie. Fans would never stand for it. There would be riots in the streets, nerds, geeks, dorks and others would all join forces and run wild speaking made up langauges and casting spells. No it's much better that they be appeased and three movies be made.

He's trying to communicate with us

If you have read the hobbit please explain how they can fit that huge adventure into one movie, even if it was three hours.

They go through forests, mountains, multiple city settings, the entire mountain sequence with smaug. There is no possible way they could fit that into one or even two movies without cutting out all the important stuff.

(I.e. Tom Bombadil) Jackson learns from his mistakes.

Jrrt epic history of middle earth is one of the greatest stories ever told,next to the bible.espescialy as it was never intended to be a best seller.the movie was good but not the best movie ever.

I saw it myself, very highly recommend this movie. It's incredible.

The lord of the rings is 6 books after all, each title is split into two separate books. Look how much was cut. Three is greedy but they will fill it nicely im sure
