Well, you could say target shooting..but that's really a strawman. I agree that guns are basically designed to kill. However, where you go wrong is to assume that it is always wrong to kill. Guns have many legitimate killing/hurting purposes that are actually good things: 1. Self defense---rape/murder prevention. That's a good thing. 2. Prevention of governmental tyranny--that's a good thing. 3. Hunting to provide food---that's a good thing(unless you're a vegan) So there are many legitimate reasons to use a gun. There are also many evil ways, as we just saw. |
