Now he's making a couple of jokes. He can't resist.

So now he launches into lecturing the audience about what parenthood means.

Someone once described the joy and anxiety of parenthood as the equivalent of having your heart outside of your body all the time, walking around. With their very first cry, this most precious, vital part of ourselves, our child, is suddenly exposed to the world, to possible mishap, or malice.

Obama seems to disassociate between his description of loving a child, at its first cry, versus his support of killing aborted babies who have survived the abortion procedures.

No. The opening prayers and statement was Arabic. The man identified himself and the boy. They are from the mosque in Newtown.
