I generally oppose 'assault weapons' without some sort of special regulations - this was an interesting video for sure, and it is interesting that almost no one wants to stop CCW with small arms.

People want to stop extremely menacing weapons from easily being purchased by those who will potentially use them in menacing ways.

It is possible to curtail the menace and allow CCW... We need some sort of rational regulation and tiered licensing for the more extreme weapons.

Think about it gun hobbyists, you guys are mostly legit people and can easily jump through a few hoops to get advanced licenses or permits or whatever.. It will protect your right, as reasonable people, to play with extreme (fun) weapons.

At this rate every hobbyist will loose out to the less rational people ranting about various other potential uses for these (often) extreme weapons.

Not a bad point, however this is impossible to implement without stomping all over the qualified.

Well the Facts are, The shooter saw the CCW man with his weapon drawn and the next bullet he fired was to kill himself.

But if the citizens of the state are not educated in the above-mentioned good qualities, how can there be happiness? For example, if the total populace is untruthful, how can the state be happy? Therefore, without consideration of one’s belonging to a sectarian religion, whether Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or any other sect, everyone should be taught to become truthful. Similarly, everyone should be taught to be merciful, and everyone should observe fasting on certain days of the month. Everyone should bathe twice a day, cleanse his teeth and body externally, and cleanse his mind internally by remembering the holy name of the Lord. The Lord is one, whether one is Hindu, Muslim or Christian. Therefore, one should chant the holy name of the Lord, regardless of differences in linguistic pronunciation. Also, everyone should be taught to be very careful not to discharge semen unnecessarily. This is very important for all human beings. If semen is not discharged unnecessarily, one becomes extremely strong in memory, determination, activity and the vitality of one’s bodily energy. Everyone should also be taught to be simple in thought and feeling and satisfied in body and mind. These are the general qualifications of a human being. There is no question of a secular state or an ecclesiastical state. Unless one is educated in the above-mentioned thirty qualities, there cannot be any peace. Ultimately it is recommended:

US Military Sniper Stops Portland Mall Massacre

A new Federal Security Services (FSB) report circulating in the Kremlin today states that a massacre was averted this past week at a shopping mall located in the Portland, Oregon suburb of Happy Valley after a US military sniper team “neutralized” a heavily armed masked gunman prior to his being able to launch what was intended to be one of the United States worst mass shootings in recent years.

According to this report, this past Tuesday (11 December), the gunman intending to perpetrate this massacre, since indentified as Jacob Tyler Roberts, entered the Clackamas Town Center shopping mall, where an estimated 10,000 holiday shoppers were located, announced “I am the shooter,” then opened fire upon his shocked victims killing Cindy Ann Yuille and Steve M. Forsyth, and critically wounding a teenage girl named Kristina Shevchenko.

Within minutes of this attack occurring, this report says, one of the at least four sniper teams belonging to the US Army’s 1st Special Forces Group, headquartered at the Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State, who had been pre-positioned for this attack, located the gunman and killed him with a single shot to the head thus ending, what in all likelihood Russian analysts say, could have been the worst American mass shooting in decades.

Interesting to note, this report continues, are that the US military sniper teams who ended this seemingly senseless rampage were able to have been pre-positioned due to their receiving a warning of this attack the day before via the English-language image board website named 4chan, where on 10 December, the day prior to this attempted massacre, a message was posted saying “Tomorrow. Watch the news, Clackamas Town Center Mall.” [See screen shot image below]

So in this day and age I suggest everyone/anyone(of reasonable mature age and nature) become proficient at fire arms and keep one loaded and available at all time.

Proficient means/includes responsible/accountable to deadly force.
