Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 1055324 United States 12/17/2012 11:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1055324 Im sorry, i thought it was you that recommended it, but its been a few months since I've had it. I appreciate you stopping by to try to help Salt. I know the problem is within the link ups between the threads and the links and I thought maybe something changed here on the GLP and I missed an announcement or something. I wish I knew how to fix this. I love this site....despite me never commenting and only reading. This is soo frustrating. Much love to you Salt and thank you again for trying. not to try and sell ya or anything but registering your account might help... I agree, I would like nothing more than to have an account, but as it is, the computer i use is the "house" computer (not mine) where I rent a room. Im handicapped, incredibly poor and not a dime to spare....or i would have an account by now. registering is free, and then you don't have to look at the ads. I always thought if you register then you will have to pay for an account eventually thats why I never did. Do you think that would fix the link problem though? |

Registering is free you just have to have a valid email address which can also be had for free. Good luck OP. Jack of all trades master of none "shall not be infringed." Isis One User ID: 14343270 United States 12/17/2012 11:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was having this problem over the weekend but it seems to be working for me now. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29888516 I'm on a Chromebook. What worked for me though was to copy/paste the link in a new tab, delete everything before the link url (there was some glp external link garbage) and replace the repeating string of random characters (it was something like %25F) with / slashes. It was a huge pain in the ass. Hi and thank you for your input. I tried something like that but I perhaps I'm not doing something right. I don't know where the glp link and the original link start or end. I tried deleting everything up to lets say, where the word imageshack starts....copy/paste, but it still gave me the glp link to the link. Its good to know more than two of us are having this issue. Thank you for trying to help me. I just got this computer last Monday and it got sooooo screwed up by this weekend and I was doing all the things mentioned here, finally I found instructions on-line (from my other computer) to go to settings, to change PC settings, to general, to restart now and choose recycle. It took a while and wiped out everything and basically set the computer back to its start date which wasn't a problem cause I didn't have anything on it yet. Just a tip. |
