I GUESS SOMETHING BIG IS COMING FROM OUR SUN

A portal was recently opened in the southern quadrant.

The winds coming from the portal are exiting the sun.

The interesting fact is that by only watching the >10MeV proton flux we can foresee the strong magnetic activity. I don´t know why these protons are special in this sense, but my experience as a sun observer says that this particular one is distinct. Let´s see if this time this happens, like in the other times I´ve seen this unusual high flux.

These data are not easily visualized in the NOAA graphs,

but they are accessible in the ftp area. Apps like MAGNETIC STORMS process these kind of data and display it adequatelly.
