Why do you think his car in "The Dark Knight" looks identical to this black knight satellite?

Earth is estimated to be 4-5 billion years old.

Human civilization evolved over 4-5 million years.

That means we could have potentially had 1000 different civilizations evolve from nothing to our current level of humanity during the life of this planet.

I personally believe that at least one very advanced civilization existed in the past and evolved to the point that they had fairly advanced technological capabilities. This would help account for many unexplained archeological mysteries, possibly even an ancient satellite.

Or I'm completely full of crap and it's from.....

a good quesiton to ask is, what would an achient satalite do? what purpose? weather monitor? communications? anchient cell phone/gps? radio?

It supposedly transmitted some sort of a signal which was decoded to be a star map. Keeping this in mind it could also be an information holder for future civilizations or smth similar.
Still, this whole story seems like a hoax to me

I've been intrigued by this, but......

Couldn't it just be an asteroid that got captured in our atmosphere? Perhaps sometime in the past an asteroid slammed into the Earth with such force this rock was launched into space. NASA discovers it and they don't know what it is, and then some publicity seeker makes up a story that it's 13000 years old and comes from Epsilon Booty or whatever. If he communicated with it with a HAM radio, how come no one has communicated with it since?

I would love it if it was left by an ancient civilization, or if it was of alien origin, but the simpler explanation is probably the correct one.

If Hollywood really is the programming of society by the TPTB, then perhaps we just stay the fuck on our own rock. For those who saw Prometheus and star maps, I think it'd be best for all, if none went to the map. I read about this satellite many years ago as I found it super interesting.

SOOOO much disinfo out there it's super hard to know true from false.
It's bizarre how much it was talked about in the news a long time ago, and now the news is all satire.
