Everyone responds to extreme stress and trauma differently.

Sometimes when people are overly stressed, what may seem to be laughing can be a sign of inner hysteria.

Try not to judge so severely.

I have no idea how I would respond emotionally in such a trauma induced situation and seek to leave space for others to react as needed.
