heavy Raining just stopped.

Wait not so fast , at 4.30 pm local time I was looking thru the window and I saw as if the sun was setting in the north .I was looking north and it was bright ( though a bit cloudy) as if the sun was at that position . And then it got too cloudy to notice anything , with rain coming.

If you're not in Greenwich England then your time is incorrect. Apparently the Mayans used universal time, which is UTC or GMT which will reach zero hour before anyone else. It's also supposed to happen at 11:11 GMT, so you still got a ways to go.
