When Guns Are Outlawed, People Will Just Use Machetes, Knives, And Pointed Sticks

In England they want to outlaw glass mugs in pubs. They say they can be smashed and the sharp edges used as a weapon. There is talk about outlawing knives that have points. They should just outlaw glass and steel and cut to the chase.

We need some common sense glass and steel laws!

I'd rather die by gun fire than a machete.

Which wont be very effective against outlaws with guns.
