it's frustrating to debate the same topics every-other-day, but I agree with you, OP. anyone who is backing the decision to ban/restrict firearms for the 'greater' good need only to look at what/how the TSA has become. That, too, was established to 'protect' the innocents

I have had a shotgun resting in a gun rack since 1978. No matter how I threaten it, or curse at it or even throw it around, it has never once shot me.

Now, if I deliberately put a bullet in it, I deliberately cock it and I deliberately pull the trigger, I may be dead or in the hospital.

When Guns/tools are by evil to their ends it is the deliberate act of the evil doer. Not vice versa..

I guess people don't understand that a bully is only a bully when His target is waek and defenceless.. Hmmm.. I personally hate violence, but sometimes you need to have a rock in your hand to keep the peace.

Very good point.. Also why does FEMA need weapons if their for disaster help?

The majority of people who voted, not the majority, and that is only if the election was legitimate. Of course this isn't supposed to be a "democracy" where millions of sheep can vote for largesse from the public trough. Constitutional republic ring a bell?
