But being a head GE financial figure, VP and Tax Director of GE Financial...you can bet Peter Lanza is right in the thick of the following. Juicy GE stuff starts in the 5th paragraph... Read this: [link to endfed.org] The U.S. Department of Justice alleges that collusion between traders across a range of banks, including Barclays, took place from at least August 2005 through to at least May 2008. Libor is just one of many anti-trust cases leveled against rampant banksterism. Another involves an investigation by U.S. energy regulators into power market bidding manipulation by JP Morgan Chase & Co., Barclays Bank PLC and Deutsche Bank AG, plus intermediaries. These banks were playing around with power market trading – buying and selling electricity – for themselves or clients. Washington’s Federal Energy Regulatory Commission alleges trading activities hiked electricity prices and resulted in higher power bills to homeowners and consumers across the U.S. A third case grinds away in courts, without much fanfare, but involves some of the same banks. This concerns allegations about manipulation of municipal bond rates that cost local and state governments millions over a number of years. So far, the Bank of America Corp., JPMorgan Chase & Co., UBS AG, Wells Fargo & Co. and GE’s former trading unit called GE Funding have paid $743 million to settle a criminal probe and civil claims for conspiring to rig bids on U.S. municipal-bond deals. Some money has been returned to victims. The case involving GE went to court and revealed how the scams were done. The Securities and Exchange Commission said GE Funding made millions by rigging 328 transactions in 44 states. GE operatives would get information about competing bids then adjust theirs accordingly. Sometimes they would take turns, with other intermediaries, putting in bids that were guaranteed to lose. Three individuals have been convicted of anti-trust violations. |

Harry_Canyon User ID: 30638970 United States 12/22/2012 12:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have always felt that I belonged alongside the Aussies, and this rant seals that for me. <~Note: I am only using the word "rant" as it has been duly labeled as such. This is just what I call "talking". I was born in 1973 into a military family. Growing up I was introduced to history at a young age, particularly all Major conflicts and tragedies, and allowed to ask questions. Many questions would only lead to other questions, until finally I was told to stop asking questions and never ask them again... Yeah, tell that to an inquisitive child, especially one from a military linage. What I learned; is that almost everything as we are told is either diluted beyond recognition, or outright fabrications. Unfortunately, these facts are never truly noticed until long after the damage is done and there is no one left to take the blame. "History is written by the victors." Winston S. Churchill Sums it up nicely. We know what we are allowed to know, and to beg into the storehouse of forbidden fruit deserves proper punishment. Interestingly enough, Churchill was also quoted as saying “A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.” This mans list of quotes read like someone who knew exactly where we would be today. "He who makes a beast of himself, gets rid of the pain of being a man." ~Dr. Johnson "Success breeds complacency. Complacency breeds failure. Only the paranoid survive." ~Andy Grove |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30639144 Only a truly gifted MORAN could piece together a puzzle as complex and befuddling as this. The diabolical schemes of the Psychopaths will be exposed piece by piece. Exposing the schemes is only half the job; the other half is to mitigate the damage that has been done to the victims. |

The hearings are a red herring, just disinfo that has been planted in the alternative media, and then exposed, in order to discredit the real financial connections here. James' father and Adam's father are both implicated big-time in the financial fraud that is being investigated as we speak. Libor is only one of several ongoing investigations. Who do you think you guys are kidding? Your game is up. |
