I would bet cold, hard cash that more people would sign a petition to keep him out of the UK than there would be to kick him out of the USA.

I am willing to sign a petition to keep Piers Morgan in the U.S. It's time that someone had the guts to stand up to the NRA and say, ENOUGH! When it comes to the slaughter of babies with a military AK-47 with extended clip, ENOUGH! Let's get a rational discussion going about what are the limits of gun ownership in our country. I don't think the Constitution writers intended that citizens have military-caliber weapons in their possession, including 30 shell clips.

Hell yes!!!! sign me up. It is time we RESPONSIBLE and REASONABLE gun owner advocates STAND UP FOR REAL GUN CONTROL! There is no reason in the world why anybody needs to own an assault weapon or a 31 clip! If you want to shoot one at the range....fine RENT IT and fire away.

This demonstrates a lack of understanding about what the Constitution actually says, let alone what the founders believed. The people who fought and died for this foundation of this country had weapons that were of, "military caliber" as you put it, for the time. As the 2nd Amendment states, "shall not be infringed."

This is not to be construed as allowed to be infringed upon when it is politically expedient.

Nor does it mean infringed upon when people are fearful.

The founders knew that they were creating a final way to balance to the scale. This was to prevent an out of control government that placed its people in a position of subordination. Without the weapons you apparently fear being in the hands of the people, those same people could be at the mercy of its government.
Be civil to all; sociable to many; familiar with few; friend to one; enemy to none.

1. You don't understand the Constitution.

2. You don't own guns

3. It wasn't an AK-47 (which is a larger 7.62mm cartridge), it was an AR-15 (.223/5.56mm cartridge)

4. It's not called a shell or a bullet, it's called a cartridge.

5. If you knew anything about guns, you'd know clip size is practically irrelevant in something like this. When someone can change clips in less than 3 seconds, size of the clip doesn't mean much (except for full autos).

6. Quit pretending you're something you're not...its apparent.
