Every year around Christmas for almost 10 years or so now, I start feeling weird when my family starts celebrating Christmas...
Today, since in Germany we celebrate Christmas in the evening, it wasn`t any different, short before the Celebrations started, I started feeling weird again, like every year.
This feeling only leaves me again, when I can get away from the Christmas Celebrations.

It is as if the room is filled with thick air, even though everyone else feels quite normal and happy, its just me who can sense this and it always heavily affects me.

So now I want to share with you my Truth about Christmas, which some of you might be aware of already, but this thread is also a means of adressing this being, that is behind this charade and exposing it, because I don`t think many people have done this so far.

This year the understanding that came to me was, that Santa Claus or Father Christmas, is the same being as the Christian God Yahweh, "God the Father", and therfor Saturn.

It is in itself already quite telling, that even non Christians all around the world, have adopted this type of Christmas and Santa Claus archetype, and started celebrating something similar or even the same, without having any real deeper reason to do so...

Santa Claus, is the Judging God Entity for Children.
Children believe anything they are being told, so this being is very real for them. For Children Santa Claus exists, period.
Santa Claus can see everything Children are doing and watches them all the time over the whole year, making a list of what they are doing. Even when I`m writing this some rage starts boiling inside me, the mind fucking they do with our Children all around the world...

The most important thing for a child to learn is, that it is a free being, who can and needs to try anything, to learn what for them feels right and wrong, instead of being told by their parents or other authorities, what is right or wrong.
The normal Christian God is beyond the scope of understanding for a child, it cannot understand why it would be judged by this ominous being sitting on a cloud or why this god would even be so evil as to send people to a place like hell. This mindcontrol program, simply cannot access the pure mind of a child yet and is therfor useless.

But a nice old man with a fluffy white beard and flying reindeers, who brings presents to children who were behaving good starts their imagination, like a real life disney movie. This concept is much easier to understand and involves a reward, that is fathomable to children.
Which also leads to the point, that parents tell their children, that imaginary friends aren`t real, that very vivid dreams aren`t real, that none of their inherent spiritual abilities are real, but Santa Clause who is flying on a skid with reindeers is real, and dare any parent to tell their children, that it is a made up lie.

The whole Ritual of Christmas, prepares the child`s mind, into accepting the existence of a Judgemental Christian God, Yahweh, that has the very same characteristics, like Santa Claus.
He claims to be able to see everything, but only his judgement is a bit more cruel, because in this case it is not about present or no present, or even worse a rod, but Eternal Hell Fire or Eternal Heaven instead.

Through telling the Children, that they either get a present when they behave good, light side of duality, or behave bad, dark side of duality, one being explored, the other being taught to heavily fear... that they even get punished with a rod, if they were really bad, which for a child really just means, exploring their true freedom, since a child really cannot do anything really "bad" yet.
The child`s mind is being conditioned into accepting, that punishment of bad people through the Christian God Yahweh, is an acceptable behaviour and completely justified, even needs to be enforced.

And if all of this mind fucking with our Children wouldn`t be enough...
The Celebration of Christmas which involves the gifting of presents BIG or small... conditions the mind, for entering into a Matrix, where Rich People are good and better/behaved better and therfor get more materialistic presents, and poor people were somehow bad/behaved worse, since they can only afford less materialistic presents.

The same goes for rich and poor children, where the confident but arrogant and bullying child in school, brags about getting a new tv or video console from Santa Claus, while the quiet child that is really good in his heart, just might have gotten, something much smaller and less expensive... I guess you see where I`m going with his.

Truth be told I hate Christmas, since I know the truth behind it, it is an ugly mindcontrol program, fucking with the purity of our Children`s Mind, and not a fucking single bit more than that.

I know what you are doing Yahweh and I will not keep quite anymore, with your bullshit false synthetic light programs that have infected the minds of our Children and Adults!

This needed to be released, now I can hopefully happily celebrate Mother Earth, Father Sun and Myself, for just Being Us and Winter being a time, where Mother Earth blesses us with Snow, instead of being a time where "Christmas is coming"...

How is this for sharing the Spirit of Christmas... would it really be that bad to tell our children, that they get their presents from us as every other child around the world, because we love them unconditionally for who they are...?

I feel like I am putting on an act whenever I go to these get-togethers. I can't wait to leave. I don't dislike my family. I hang out with my mom a lot but dad's wife is a phony. Maybe that's it. Also my brother and dad's wife don't get along, and I'm sure he is feeling forced too.

It's uncomfortable. That is likely the reason.

Most stuff in life is an act though bro, you can either choose to be an actor, or choose to do your own thing.
People wont like you much if you do your own thing, except other people who do their own things, which are few and far between.
But whether you care about that or not is up to you.
If something makes you feel bad, doesn't necessarily make it bad.
But its up to you to figure out if this is what you want or not.

Arrive a little late, find one person you can relate to and talk to them for most of the time, and have a glass of wine or spiked egg nog to smooth out the edges. Leave a little early, you could hint that you have a new "friend" that you are meeting, and it could be "the one". That way after you leave all they can talk about is the mystery date, not the fact that you left early.

Seriously, almost EVERYBODY hates Christmas with the relatives and can't wait to get home. Why do you think there is so much "Christmas Cheer" being imbibed? It's just a couple of hours out of your year, try to be a good sport.

We've just had Xmas here and I've avoided both my family and a couple of other invitations.
Truthfully I can't stand my family, for all sorts of reasons I won't go into, and rather pretend that I do I just have "something else to do."
My mother and father are gone so that makes it a lot easier.
I agree with the Saturn/Santa Claus theory too.
It's always felt like a baaaad time of year, and the vibes are dirty and heavy.
I'm not much of a woowoo but I've learnt to go by my gut instincts (saved my life a couple of times) so I'm suggesting you go with yours.
You can always make a minimal appearance, go through the motions and then zip away.

From countless Christmas dramas in the past i can fully support what the Aussie wrote: Go and act.

Try to make some jokes,
speak about the job
a smile here a smile there
go often out to the toilet or for smoke
maybe help a little bit (washing the dishes).

Do not confront anyone with anything negativ. Try not to show anyone your real mood.

You may feel unconfortable during and after this charade, but after a night of sleep, its gone.

If you decide not to go have a proper excuse.

Christmas is like some sort of litmus test that shows in black and white how starkly different our lives are from the standardised Norman Rockwell painting of how life is "supposed" to be.

We are "supposed" to be "happy", at home with all sorts of "loving" relatives, in a "festive" large suburban home.

No one experiences depression, addiction, anomie, angst, neurological disorders, social anxiety, poverty, or any other unpleasant maladjustments.

It is like we are all *forced* to see ourselves in a stark snapshot contrasted to the famous Norman Rockwell painting of how we are *supposed* to be.

And we all fail hideously.

Sums it up pretty well. Now i can laugh, it's over for another 364 days (even i have to say New Year Eve is fucked up too for me)

The funny feeling is always that you are thinking that you are the only one feeling uncomfortable at this events. Everyone seems pretty much ok (maybe they are just better actors?).

The best thing is if there are little kids around. Everyone is focusing on the little kids, playing with them in order to avoid the drama of interaction in the failed relationsship between parents, parents and children, among childrens (sisters and brothers) and so on.

Your not alone! Suck it up and get your ass over there! It's more important to just show up, then to show up with presents. I don't like going either but I wouldn't do that to my parents.

You're not alone bud im sure there's thousands of us men out there that feel exactly the same, I hate Christmas for that very reason , it forces you into un- natural surroundings and to pretend to enjoy something you actually detest.

It's the hassel of it all, normally we wouldn't feel guilty.

I'm going to our daughters, as most of our family are away or living elsewhere it's easier for me.

However I still hate being forced to visit someone I saw only a few days ago.

I'm like you, although my Grandchild will perhaps enjoy the company and I can't wait to see his little smiley face again.

Rather than look at the big negatives take to the small positives, looks like your dad is going all out for this, share some love with him, give him a kiss on the cheek and tell him how wonderful he is.

You will go away feeling better, trust me I did that one year.

You'll need them much sooner than you think.

i agree that santa is a very questionable figure in terms of conditioning children. but christmas is not just santa, it's a celebration of unconditional LOVE. open your hearts and let it FLOW :)

I feel you. The only family in the state where I live is my nephew. I tolerated his wife while my parents were alive. Now that they've passed and his parents have moved south, I don't have to put on the charade anymore. We call each other. He understands because at this point, he doesn't like her much either. Sad.

I'm with you on that my friend.

Feel sick to the stomach and just pissed my missis off totally by not going with her to do the 'circus' - driving miles and miles round to see each one of her family in turn, the 'meet and greet' and then on to the next.

As for my folks I find time to see them each week and rarely let a week go by I don't tell my folks how much I love them and give them a big hug.... so I'll be f**ked if I'm doing it today because I'm required too as 'its Christmas'. I don't need Coca-Cola or Toys'r'f**king-us to remind me every 5 mins for the last 2 months that today is about seeing my family and lavishing them with gifts.

Probably the main reason I hate this time of year though, is I am a serving Police Officer, and have been since I was 19. This is the first Christmas day in 10 years I have had off and my memories of this time of the year for the last decade are of terrified beaten women, crying kids, being covered in blood, snot and tears from families who get on the 'Christmas ale' and seem to feel the need to beat sh*t out of each other along with anyone else that gets in the path, dealing with the massive increase in suicides and sudden deaths that this time of year always throws up, and telling people that husbands/wives/children are dead cos some dick decided to have one to many egg-nogs and wiped them out as they drove home shedded.

Oh, and Muppets Christmas Special.... those furry f**ks can p**s off as well.

Some people live in a fantasy world - trust me, if my family was just annoying, and I pissed my panties when I thought about going over there - that would be a dream.

Fact is, there are those that have families that are torn apart and disintegrated. Toxic and harmful to be around. There are people that love to destroy, and sometimes its those who are supposed to be the closest to you.

You can't look at an abusive situation with a family and sum it up by saying "Oh...I can't stand my family either"

totally agreed, if you're in a toxic, harmful and abusive family environment you better get out of it and stay out of it, no matter if it's christmas or any other day! you can try and let unconditional love flow on different levels anyway, you might get surprised by the results :)

but i guess a lot of the posters in this thread are rather in the "just annoying family" situation? OP and others sound like that...
