This happens to me too, but mine are in vivid color. I see geometric patterns, the colors are red,yellow,orange,blue and many of the geometric shapes are outlined in black. They form a semi-circle. Mine usually last about 20 minutes. Afterwards I feel very weak. This has been happening more often for about a year. Probably at least once a week. I wish it would stop.

this may sound weird but it reminded me
of that TV series stargate where they had
that round thingy with all the shapes
and designs on it. except mine was not
complete. it was missing a few pieces
which did not complete the circle.
the text and images created the circular
pattern. but it was not complete on the right
side. if you were looking at a clock it would
be about the 1 o'clock position to the
5 o'clock position was missing.
