I thought about buying a few too, one for my dad, one for gramma. But i chose to get her an inscribed necklace...which she loved, i think it meant more to her. Now, my dad I kinda wish I would have gotten him one....i got him some Saints stuff....and he loves the Saints, but i bet he would have like the ipad more lol.

Re: What did you GIVE for Christmas?! POST HERE
it's not just what I gave
but what our whole community gave.

last night and all day today
around our house was the blast
of newly given guns for the holidays.

I have never felt so safe in this community.
There must have been 1,000 rounds shot
in the past 24 hrs target practicing
with their new weapons. Shotguns, rifles
and side arms. Not just our family but
every family within sound distance.

Gosh I love America ;)

God Bless America .... with guns !

I replied to the "what did you get for christmas" thread, but then later wish I hadnt. It seems ...just wrong.....

Christmas is about giving, more than receiving, so we should think about that aspect also.

Let's hear about what YOU gave, it doesnt have to be materialistic either....

I know there are plenty of genuine souls on here.

It may be awkward to answer this question as well, many givers do not like tooting their own horn....but that is not why I am asking, it just genuinely makes the heart feel good to hear such charitable stories!!!!

So.....

What did you give?
 Quoting: Jervis and V-Honey

I gave my family a beautiful meal, practical gifts, and lots of love. That's all we need.

Also cooked many, many meals for volunteers and National Guard people helping out after the storm in NJ.

I gave my kids some guns, to defend themselves against medicated gunaddicted yanks.

This is for all of you mofo's, you know who you are.

The end of all law
4 shots fired another body falls
I execute the guilty violently
Undercover killing spree - no warning shot
Die motherfucker, die, die
Die motherfucker, die, die
Die motherfucker, die, die
I'll put a bullet between your fucking eyes
Pull the trigger - cock the hammer back
5th shot to the back of your neck
You're not a threat, you're a fucking disease
Eradicate the enemy

I didn't have money for store bought gifts so I made gifts to give out to a few people. Would take pics but they have already been given, I've always been crafty so that came in handy.

I won a pair of earbuds from Marlboro and gave them to my son, also invited a neighbor over for dinner (paid for by a GLP member, pokerface) who doesn't have family.

I had a nice holiday, many blessings. I have some health issues that have prevented me from working but that should be resolved in a few months and I'll be back in the saddle.

Re: What did you GIVE for Christmas?! POST HERE
Bought two families food items to last about a week.Bought toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, soap, etc for a few other people that have no family to give them gifts. Some have lost jobs or had their hours cut so basic daily supplies are things they welcome.Got an elderly lady a lamp that she needed for the table beside her chair .A few other smaller random things for others.
I dont have a lot but have more than many people do and sharing is easy for me since I have had so many people help me in the past.Even a small gesture can make all the difference to someone that feels down and out and uncared about.

Absolutely, nothing...I don't celebrate this Pagan day. I will say this, since many pretend to honor Christ with their lips, but their hearts are from him...ACCEPT CHRIST, NOW!!!!!

You're honoring the SUN, not the SON, when you celebrate this EXTREMELY pagan day. The Catholic Church celebrated it for profit in the days of Constantine, and now the retailers are promoting it for profit.

Cease and desist, people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A bunch of wicked-awesome, practical, homemade things that sucked the life out of my entire Dec. we're taken for granted and ill appreciated due to not being shiney plastic electronic garbage or polyester textile crap from Walmart, made in China by slave labour, and bought with cash equivilent to what I recieved in return.
I had to give the impression that I would take them back and throw them in the garbage for them to be accepted as a token of sub-par value, that failed to spark the dead souls or bring even a slight flicker of delight in the eyes of the beholders Satanicly brainwashed, consumer programed minds.

I'm sorry your homemade gifts weren't appreciated. I did the same thing and the recipients seemed happy to get them.

I love to get homemade gifts! The fact that someone took the time to make something especially for me is wonderful. You did something nice, bad on them not on you.

I wanted to share this article with the kind folks who are reading this thread. It seems #26acts has taken storm, and I am going to be the next to participate. It all started with a tweet, what if we did 26 kind things, as a way to make up for the evil done in sandy hook? [link to www.facebook.com]

Giving my novel away for free :)

Shelled way to many pecans and gave those to family members.

Clothes and scarves to my nieces and nephews and gave my mom some books she wanted and a print by a local artist of the downtown theater from back in the 50s.

Tight this year, but had a great Christmas!

I knit and crochet lots of things all year round and I give those things out as well as what I buy yearly. This year I even learned beading and made necklaces and key chains and gave those out to people. Where I send most of it all across the US I don't get to see the kids that get it, but usually the moms tell me they loved the stuff.

$20 each to younger children, $50 to the teen. Did not have enough for another, but first payday in January I'll give her $100. The older children need money for gas to get back and forth to tech school.
