Before reading this post, had you ever heard about this!?
Consider: This is the man who was #1 in charge of investigating the Columbine school shooting.
Does this give you faith in the current investigation being conducted in Newtown, Connecticut?
Quoting: The Sonic Dreamer Columbine happened in what, 1999? He was arrested 12 years later, correct? Where is the causation here? Are you saying because he committed crimes (drugs and prostitution, which are usually ways to escape pain or guilt or depression), he didn't investigate correctly a decade before? I have no idea what the "causation" was. If you are asking what my "point" is....here are a couple of things that immediately spring to mind: 1. How long has this man been a drug addict and a patronizer of homosexual prostitutes? 2. While he was Sheriff, was he ever black-mailed with information/hidden video/photographs concerning his criminal activities? Yes he was arrested twelve years after the shooting at Columbine. Also, please do not be an apologist for this man. And, yes, I am calling into question the professional judgement, ethical behavior, and moral integrity of this man . So the fact 12 years later he's arrested, means you suspect everything he did 12 years before? I'm sorry, I can't make that logical leap. One series of events has no bearing on the other, they were separated by more than a decade. Also, why single out the homosexuality of the issue? What does it matter what two consenting adults do, even if money is exchanged? I don't see how that effects ones ability to handle forensic evidence.
