Dream help interpretation needed.,about religious matters

This time she has shadows under her eyes. Once she wore glasses. The second Saint (?)

Ive got to go. Ill keep bumping it. I would really like to know at least who the first Saint is. St. Catherine of ....

The second is an old lady dressed in todays clothes, though plain , conventional, no bright colours, and thin.

I may look into this further but first that came to mind was St Catherine of Sienna. An absolutely brilliant nun in her time.

The European lady I would bet is a deceased ancestor who watches over you. Maybe a grandmother or an aunt. Being plain dressed look to someone who might have died in the 40s or 50s.

Thank you but definitely not. She is not from where my family is. She originates from another country. Has nothing to do with my direct family, none of us come from that country. Yes she seems to dress like in the 50s. Plain , conventional and no bright colours. Very thin, lovely big blue eyes, cranky, strict, but seems to know me, though I dont know who she is, and seems to care for me a lot and is always trying to help me. And keeps appearing now and again in my dreams giving advice or telling me off , always trying to help me. She wore glasses once .

But I would like to know also about the first Saint because the old lady said I am to pray to her, but I dont know who she is Catherine of the...first image of crucified Christ? who is that?

But the old lady said she was the first..or among the first..not sure, to have an image of Christ Crucified.

Why do the Catholics still have Him hanging on a Cross?

The only thing that I could find OP was a reference to Blessed Mary Catherine, who is up for sainthood and is in the process of being canonized. I believe a miracle attributed to her intercession is required for full sainthood.

I think it's not done as a reminder of eternal death of some kind, but rather the sacrifice that was made for eternal life and redemption.

Got an e mail from a Glp Catholic friend..because of this odd coincidence it could be this Saint..
I have been bumping miraculous prayers about the shoulder wound of Christ..now I hadnt heard these prayers before, seems that they are due to a certain Catherine Emmerich. I have heard the name I think but know absolutely nothing about her.
Seems she was among the first to have a detailed vision of the Passion of the Christ, as in Image of Christ Crucified, like the dream said, in amazing detail (her visions) and was actually what Mel Gibson used for the movie the Passion of the Christ.

So the amazing coincidence of bumping the threads, and this Saint being the author of the prayer I was bumping, then the dream, I think this is the one.

The old lady whoever she is or was , must have been or is very devout to this Saint and wants me to pray to her.

I chose the crown of thorns; he placed it on my head, and I pressed it down with both hands. Then he disappeared, and I returned to myself, feeling, however, violent pain around my head. I was obliged to leave the church, which was going to be closed. One of my companions was kneeling by my side, and as I thought she might have seen what happened to me, I asked her when we got home whether there was not a wound on my forehead, and spoke to her in general terms of my vision, and of the violent pain which had followed it. I have read all of Sister Anne Catherine Emmerich's visions, it was a four volume series I read years ago, I believe. From what I remember, she was quite ill and confined to her bed when she had many visions as a mystic of Jesus' life and passion. I think she was from Germany, and for a time she sustained herself on the Eucharist, only, took no other food. I am sorry if you have posted any of this info, just rolling along with what I remember. I found the books very interesting, and she goes into great detail about what she saw. Very interesting if this is the connection from your dream. :-)
