Because they are more intelligent than other nations and have strict immigration laws. No immigration into the social system.

Japan is very racist and up to the late 19th century was
very isolationist. Mixed marriages are very frowned upon and other races are considered inferior, even other asian races like Chinese. Some mixing occured after, and during occupation, but is much frowned upon. Japan has little to no need to import labor as Japanese people are hard working, industrious, and dutiful people.

I think it's great. They have kept their culture intact and there's virtually no crime. They don't have people from other nations immigrating and changing their laws, such as trying to instill Sharia Law, and there are no race wars.

It is cause Japan was isolated from the rest of the world more then 500 years, till the beginning of the 19th century, it was forbidden to trade with foreigners.

Then the Tenno decided to go industrilisation and in about 20 years Japan went from middel age to industrial age, and early 20th century was a top industrial age country but still with the old tradition and monarchy as ruleing form.
