When the House left before Christmas it gave us all a lump of coal as a present! The Repo majority to a person refused to vote on the new Farm Bill. This Bill amongst other things pays for last summers crop insurance/establishes subsidies/provides insurance for this year as well as a host of other farm related items including the FOOD STAMP PROGRAM. The FOOD STAMP PROGRAM benefits those who live below the poverty level especially those that have children. The stupid fucking REPOS are playing with fire here. We are already hearing of MILK priced at $8 a gallon and that is just the tip of the iceberg. Farmers decimated by last summers drouth who have crop insurance claims will not be able to buy seed for this years crop leading to far lower production and skyrocketing prices which we will ALL PAY so that these MORONS can ply their ideology.

Call your Congress Critter and tell them to get this damn bill PASSED NOW!

By the way don't give me any bull shit about misuse of funds by a small percentage of those recipients being any kind of excuse here. I have noted that the same person who rails against any form of gun control usually is the first one to step up and use the above excuse to defend their position re gun control. I am one of the first to defend 2nd Amend rights and I can't for the life of me see how anyone who takes that position can turn around and defend the Republican controlled Houses position on food stamps.
