I've not experienced it myself, have had other types of non chemical mind expansion, but what about findings of holes in the brain developing early on in use. Were MDMA a natural product of earth's pharma I'd be more inclined to be more willing to try it. But it is a synthetic created in a lab and that for sure I don't trust. Holes in the brain...? None of that is true. MDMA can be very affective when put to therapuetic use. As wih all things in life you never want to abuse it. :)
