And as for living forever, really, we were designed to live forever. The Bible says God has put eternity in our hearts....I mean, what are things that you like to do that you could perfect with time? music? art? exploring endless animal life? etc., etc...I don't know what your likes are but imagine endless creativity...and maybe boredom is the result of so many limitations we have right now. and as for being happy, isn't that simple state of mind what people REALLY desire? yet so few attain it. being happy in itself would make living forever a joy?

Would you not get bored with the music after a certain amount of time? I know I get bored of certain songs after I listen to them a few hundred times. Forever is FOREVER....billions upon billions and gazillions of years. Imagine a butterfly that continuously flew around the world. Imagine that at only one point, its wings touched the ground and made a small indent in the dirt. Well, imagine that butterfly continuing to fly around the earth and each time its wings passed that point a little more ground was taken away, but just a teeny tiny bit. Now imagine that the butterfly flew around earth so many times that its wings made a hole the size of the Grand Canyon. Now, thinking of eternity, it has not even yet begun. YOU would get bored. You know you would. You would want to rest. You would beg God to rest. But this is forever and ever. You can't escape. Think about it clearly. Do you really want to live forever or is this just something your church tells you that you should want? I would personally LOVE to see a butterfly circle the earth enough times to have its wing make a crater the size of the Grand Canyon! THATS good stuff! That's EXACTLY the kind of stuff to keep life from being boring  guess every one has their own interpretation of boring} I would say boredom results from being enslaved to our futile 40 hour work week cycle with no hope and limited imaginations. Adam was created as a landscape engineer to expand Eden globally. It was after he stole from God's tree that he was expelled and became a plow pushing farmer. Boredom results from living forever, end of story. If there is no end to you, then there will be boredom. Unless, like another poster mentioned, you get your memories deleted and keep being reincarnated into other surroundings. Then you wouldn't necessarily get bored. It would be like this life. We live and then we die. If we come back as someone else with no memories of our past lives, we would only be bored once in a while.
