Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31676706 sodium Fluoride CALCIFIES the pineal gland, so it wouldn't be ideal to be taking MSM with water that is doing the opposite although i'd assume it would still be better than not taking it at all. Anonymous Coward User ID: 31346699 Canada 01/07/2013 05:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | After using this substance for over a year, I have to say that it's the most safe and effective one that iv'e ever used. It's absolutely amazing stuff! Not only does it to an incredible job of tetoxing the entiire body, it also makes you feel REALLY good! Among many other benefits. Since it's an essential element (bioavalable sulphur), it's about as toxic as water, which means it's almost impossible to harm yourself with it (you might get the runs if you take too much). The other huge benefit is sulphur acts as an alkaline PH buffer in your body ( a good thing). I switched from MMS to MSM after trying both because I find MSM to be much easier on the body and had better results in the end. Bulk MSM powder is the wway to go since it's WAY cheaper. Quoting: Silvanus Here's the rundown on it: 7 BENEFITS OF MSM – THE MIRACLE SUPPLEMENT by SHAWN in NUTRITION,SUPERFOODS Biologically active sulfur is one of the most critical nutrients for our bodies to remain youthful and energetic. As we age, along with a diet deficient in essential nutrients, our bodies become stiff, our cells become rigid, and our overall energy begins to rapidly decelerate. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is an organic sulfur compound that’s naturally derived during the earth’s rain cycle. Sulfur is present in many natural unprocessed foods, but it’s quickly lost during the cooking process. MSM is gaining a lot of attention due to the recent focus on longevity and anti-aging technologies. Here’s a list of 7 impressive benefits that MSM delivers: 1. Improves skin health and complexion MSM is necessary for collagen production. Sagging skin and wrinkles, as well as dry, cracked skin are all developed through a loss of collagen. MSM works together with Vitamin C to build new, healthy tissues. MSM can normalize collagen formation and radically improve skin health. 2. Improves flexibility Research has shown that MSM is highly effective in improving joint flexibility. Additionally, it helps to produce flexible skin and muscle tissue. This leads to an increase in overall flexibility due to a restoration of the “juiciness” in the tissues. 3. Detoxifies the body One of the most important features of MSM is that it makes your cells more permeable. This means that it allows toxins and metabolic waste products to easily be moved out of the cells, while essential nutrients and hydration can be moved in. It’s a calcium phosphate dissolver, so it has a remarkable ability to break up the bad calcium that’s at the root of degenerative diseases. 4. Strengthens hair and nails Collagen and keratin and both critical for the production of healthy hair and nails. MSM is a bonafide “beauty mineral” that provides the sulfur needed to produce collagen and keratin. It’s also highly noted to contribute to exceptional strength and thickness of the hair and nails, which can be noticed in just a couple weeks of consistent use. 5. Accelerates healing Lactic acid and other byproducts cause pain and soreness in the body. MSM increases the ability of the body to eliminate waste products at the cellular level. This speeds recovery and frees up more energy for rebuilding. 6. Naturally Increases energy Due to the increased permeability of the cells, less energy is required to deal with the accumulation of toxins. This results in more energy being redirected towards activity and necessary healing. Digestion is the biggest energy requirement of the body (Approximately 70-80% of your energy is spent on digestion each day). MSM increases the absorption of nutrients so that the energy expenditure on digestion is vastly reduced. 7. Anti-inflammatory MSM is a powerful anti-inflammatory due to its ability to allow metabolic wastes to be removed from the cells. Excess weight on the body is actually inflammation. The cells of the body are chronically inflamed and retaining the byproducts of metabolic processes. Sulfur needs to be present In order for these toxins and wastes to be removed from the body. When these byproducts can be removed from the system, then the cells can also dispose of excess fluids that were being stored as a buffer. What results is a natural and effective reduction in unwanted weight. [link to www.theshawnstevensonmodel.com] the protocol I used is called an "MSM superdose cleanse". Here's the directions: 1.be sure to take 1000MGs per day of vitamin C as it assists with the removal of toxins 2.start with 3000MGs of MSM per day with plenty of PURE water. I find it easier to split it up and take it with meals. 3. Add 1000 MGs to your daily dose each day until you reach 20,000MGs per day of MSM. Stay at this dose for 3-7 days until you feel your body is flushed of toxins ect. (you will know since you will feel GREAT!) 4.back off the dose to 3000mgs per day for healthy maintenance and PH buffer. This can be adjusted depending on how much acidic foods or drink are taken. that's it, no fuss, no mess! Be sure to purchase VEGETABLE sourced MSM, as some cheap MSM products in the United States are petroleum sourced. one last note: From my experience this does help decalcify the pineal gland, every time I do a superdose cleanse I have numerous OOBE's and feel pressure in my third eye area, dreams also become very lucid. For those who aren't familiar with david Wolfe's work, I highly suggest you watch the series on Calcium. Absolutely, mind blowing stuff! Been looking at this since yesterday. I wanted to prove you wrong and hoist the BS flag but you have me convinced. Thanks OP! |

I take it for a back problem I've had my entire life. I also have arthritic hands (I'm in my 30s, hands started going bad in my 20s, ugh) and find MSM to be incredibly helpful. Piggybacking on what you posted, though, I'd suggest supplementing with a HIGH QUALITY C, putting garbage vitamins in your body doesn't help. But it is true that MSM also works wonders on skin and joints, I've experienced this myself. 20000mg sounds REALLY high though, wow. Side note: isn't David Wolfe the NutriBullet spokesguy? I admit I bought one and love it... it's hard to find all organic fruits and veggies but I down at least two "green shakes" a day and haven't felt better. |

Yes vitamin C is important, it is in the superdose protocol in the OP. Natural sourced vitamin C is in fact better due to it's bioflavanoid content. As far as I know Acerola cherry powder is best. It is unbelievably potent and is a cold killer. If you think 20,000mgs/day is high, David wolfe claims to have taken 30,000mgs/day for MONTHS at a time! as for the nutribullet, I think your right because i've seen him mention it before in a few vids. |

I found out it's not that much better and it's wayyyyyy more expensive. esterC is CALCIUM ascorbate, not a good idea to be taking bad calcium when trying to decalcify the body. Bad calcium is explained in the first video of this thread for anyone wondering what the difference is and what to avoid. Natural sourced vitamin c is best, if it's too pricey just plain vitamin C will do. although you will be pissing alot of it out and wasting your money and kidney's in the process since alotof it's synthetic. From personal experience Acerola cherry powder is the best by a long shot. Here's the lowdown on it: Acerola Cherry Powder - Real Vitamin C "Did you know that by taking vitamin C supplement products, you might be doing yourself more harm than good? Many vitamin supplements contain synthetic vitamin C; most of this synthesized version isn't used by the body and is expelled in urine causing your kidneys and liver to work hard. To truly benefit from vitamin C, you need the complex real vitamin C, not the synthetic version. Real vitamin C is found in natural foods, just like the acerola cherry. The Acerola tree grows naturally in the West Indies (it's also known as the Barbados cherry), Central America and northern Latin America. Acerola Juice is as common in Brazil and Suriname as Orange Juice is in the United States. Its bright red fruits are the same size as regular cherries and have a pleasant taste. Famed for its vitamin C content, with as much as 4.5% of vitamin C per fruit (compared to 0.05% per peeled orange) acerola cherries are also rich in vitamin A, magnesium, niacin, potassium, thiamine, iron and calcium. In Suriname, a small country in north-east South America, traditional healers used the leaves to fight dysentery and diarrhea and liver issues, while the fruit was used for the treatment of colds and infections." Silvanus (OP) User ID: 25980868 Canada 01/07/2013 10:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Acerola Cherry is a fruit belonging to the Malpighiacaea family of flowering plants. It’s other popular names include Barbados Cherry, West Indian Cherry, and Wild Crapemyrtle. It’s been used in Latin America and the Amazon as a health promoting and medicinal plant for hundreds of years and has recently become popular with westerners for some of its remarkable health properties. Nutritionally, the acerola cherry is remarkable for its high concentration of vitamin C and anti-oxidant activity, among other benefits. Nutrients The acerola cherry is mostly noted for its high concentration of ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Fresh acerola can contain as much as 3.5% ascorbic acid by weight, and a 180mL glass of fresh squeezed acerola juice can contain as much vitamin C as 14 liters of orange juice! The vitamin C in the acerola cherry also has a higher absorbance into the body than other natural sources. One study found that the bio-availibility of vitamin C in acerola is 1.63 times higher than that found in synthetic sources. Acerola is also a source of vitamin C, iron, calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin B, although levels do not typically exceed 10% of your recommended daily allowance. Anthocyanins Like other berries found in the latin american region, the acerola cherry is an excellent source of anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are a type of flavonoid molecule that have been the subject of intense scrutiny by the medical community because of their alleged health benefits. Laboratory based experiments suggest that anthocyanins may help prevent or appease a variety of health ailments including cancer, diabetes, fibrocystic disease, inflammation, bacterial infections, and aging and neurological impairments. A study published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry studied the anthocyanin concentrations of four amazon berries and found that acerola concentrate contained the chemical backbones of anthocyanin compounds cyanidin, delphinidin, peonidin, pelargonidin, petunidin, and malvidin." full article at link: [link to blog.healthkismet.com] |

I admit I bought one and love it... it's hard to find all organic fruits and veggies but I down at least two "green shakes" a day and haven't felt better. glad to hear it's helped you! Cool thanks, I will check Acerola cherry powder out, looks like I can just toss it into my green juice shakes. My naturopath has me an a major immune-boosting regimen (I have to lobby with scum senators on the Hill and shake hands with slime, I come across a lot of bad germs haha), surprised she never mentioned this. We don't talk much about nutrition though, I'd much prefer getting the nutrients raw over supplements when possible. And wow, I will have to look up some more of David's stuff, I just thought he was a hack for the NutriBullet! I didn't want to believe it at first (I mean it WAS an infomercial) but I really do feel like a different person since switching to all raw multivitamins and supplementing with two NutriBullet shakes a day. Like I said, it's REALLY hard to find all organic goodies to put in it (defeats the purpose if I'm using GMO crap in my shakes) but worth the hunt and I find myself craving better foods outside of the shakes now, I have a bag of Christmas candy I barely touched that normally would have been devoured by now. But yes 100% on naturally sourced vitamins of any kind, not just C. One-a-Days are trash, might as well take nothing at all. |
