I hate sex offenders because of the permanent damage they have done to children, because they are disgusting sickos.I wasn't conditioned to hate them because I can see their picture. I don't need to see a picture of them, knowing what they have done is what fuels my hate. Speaking from experience that pain never ever goes away. You don't heal or get over it.

I don't understand what you are getting at with the list. Are you saying there shouldn't be one or that there should also be one for murders too. I would say that very few people on the sex offender list are innocent. You have to consider that kids don't just go around making things up like this. Normal children aren't exposed to sex to be able to make this up.

I said sex offenders should be killed. I didn't actually admit anyone on the list was innocent, what I actually said was that VERY FEW people on there is about all that would be innocent. Children don't go around making up things like this. I am well aware of how the lists works. The sex offender lists, lists adults who have had sex or sexual contact with a person who is underage. It also lists adults who have raped other adults.

People use the lists to watch out for potential predators in their area. Maybe people want to know if the house their teenage daughter walks by on her way home from school has a damn sicko that has the potential to do her harm.

Having been in the system myself and also having criminal defense attornys in the family, we are no longer shocked to see people who are busted for peeing in public, on the sex offender list for life.

Yes, that is how outragious it is now that if you get caught pissing behind the bar for example, it is more then likely they will try and get you registered for life.

There are also many other "lists"; the convicted felon list, the registered drug offender list, the gang affiliation list, the people who have strikes, prison priors, etc etc etc...

Now all they do is put all the lists in a hat and pick one...

I actually agree with you that child rapists and women abusers are the worst scum on the planet, but what about the 17 year old kid who had sex with his 15 year old girlfriend and ended up on that list because of it? How about the dude who got caught peeing in public too close to a school and ended up on the registry? I know for a fact those are two offenses recorded in my neighborhood, as I actually read the details of the so-called crimes. Do those people deserve death?

The list is ridiculous. Its been shown that sex offenders are the least likley to reoffend when compared to the rest of the people who have been incarcerated. Its more likely someone who has not been arrested for a sexual offense will commit a sex based crime in the future. Stress management is a primary key in counselling for sex offenders, to help them not reoffend. The list actually increases stress and alienation in sex offenders which inturn increases the likelihood that they will reoffend. I think the list is a great tool for law enforcement, but should be kept from the public. Your average drug dealler has caused more death and destruction of lives including children, but recieves no such designation. Most sex offenders are mentally ill and should have mandatory private counselling for life or at least 10 years. Most sex offenders hate themselves more then the general public and just like the gay population they feel like they have little control over their desires. That being said I had a relationship with an underage girl when I was 21. I was immature and naive, and believed her to be older than she was. For my crime I received lifetime probation. After five years of expensive psychological testing and with the help of a good lawyer I had my probation terminated. Its been 12 years now and I have a family and a wonderful daughter. I am still however on the registry and will be for at least 8 more years unless they extend the length again. When I plead I was told I would be on it for ten years. I have never reoffened and I am not atractted to children or even younger women. I made some bad choices and everyone in my life has had to suffer the reults of those choices with me. As long as I am part of the system my family and will always be at risk of being subjected to any new law or measures that get passed.

Never once did I say everyone on the list should die. I said someone who has raped or molested a child should die.

I understand the part about peeing outside because they are listed on their as exposing themselves. See I actually read the details too. I don't regret it, it gave me charterer, personality and the ability to observe and decipher.

I see people sexually abusing kids right in front of their parents eyes and the parents just don't pick it up so as a result, most child abusers never get caught.

I never told on this person for i felt like i would ruin there life.So at 17 yrs old i was at a high school party and a younger girl that said she was 15 turned out to be 13 after we made out and only touched each other.Well then my father said i should go tell the police everyhing that happened without legal representation.when he was a dallas policemen for years knowing that you should always seek legal representation, before making any statement specially a sex offense.What the sick part was that he had sexually assaulted the family member that assaulted me, and they were the same age apart as when i was a victim.So after i was scared into taking probation eventually making me a sex offender and now i'm the only one who is the known sex offender to my family.So whatever dumbass rock you crawled under go back there if you really think that Bitch .You uneducated hillbilly.
