So I've heard pieces of this story, I'm tracking with it, Da Vincci code type information I'm guessing? But I have a very personal impasse regarding the information in which is proposed Jesus didn't die on the cross but was only wounded and healed himself with ancient Buddhism techniques.

I have a personal friend who is a molecular biologist, and astrophysicist (Dr. Brian Miller) who has personally studied the shroud of Turin, and with some other scientists studied how the skeleton of Jesus was "etched" onto the shroud.

The experiments were successful, with a very specific amount of energy (equivalent to a bolt of lightening or small nuclear reaction) used at a very small interval in time (nanoseconds). This "reaction" came from within the body to create the image on the shroud. BTW This image was incredibly bloody and scars match the sword that pierced Jesus side as well.

This experiment was the catalyst in his personal conversion, and the conclusion that resurrection was a in fact real event, a great mystery to how it was conducted.

Now Im not discounting this info about the lost years of Jesus and some of the other things in the few videos I watched, but its a stretch for me personally.

Again I agree, but it seems like semantics to a degree. I believe Jesus is the son of God, fully God and fully man. He says the way to the father (God) is through him. God is Father, Son, and Spirit.

So to me technically, Jesus can't be an idol UNLESS people discount God the father. It's like saying "only read the New Testament" or the evangelical church only incanting the Holy Spirit and not recognizing the Father and Jesus.

I know in Revelation there is a piece that "only God knows" the day of Jesus return, not even Jesus knows.

I do believe Yahweh is God over all, and His son Jesus is our teacher, our "way' to know God, His character, HIS ways...our way TO Him, and that we have help through the Holy Spirit.

So I guess Im trying to figure out what you are trying to tell me Neim :)

Niem just for clarity which translation are you using so I can track closer to what you're saying?

Not that it matters a lot which translation...So Im guessing, that "soon coming" possibly relates to the other thread about the mark of the beast soon coming, and testing our obedience to what God says about this?

Please understand my analytical side coupled with a membership to MENSA...which counts as NOTHING if there is a misguided understanding to what the scriptures teach.
