This is what happens when you have ignorance and the inclination to refute the bible join together.
Just because you THINK there is a contradiction or do not understand something does not mean there is a problem with the text maybe the problem is with you, after all do you know everything? Those who would rather NOT believe the bible don't hesitate to turn against it when they think they have found such dilemmas.
Been there done that and now know better...
In the end people will believe what they WANT to believe
Quoting: Veresanctus instead of getting defensive. if you were a "good" christian you'd spend less time "judging" (which the bible is clear about) and do more explaining. To save your "brother" from eternal damnation in hell, now wouldn't you? the problem is Christians cherry pick verses that are suppose to be taken literally to serve their belief system, and then substitute ones that make absolutely no fucking sense and say, oh that's just symbolic, you're not suppose to take that literally. I believe the bible has tons of useful information, most esoteric, and all the other shit was changed in 325 AD to serve another rather obvious purpose.
