Heb 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of thing hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Faith is a personal experience of the Deity that constitutes PROOF! This is how the disciples and Jesus used the word.
Now guess why the modern usage and definition is diametrically opposite.....can't have people seeking/having actual experiences of Truth right?
