I designed thoose as cold cathode 1 watters ... BYU in SLC made them into incremental power waste & money waste POS ! They have an internal start resistor that makes them consume more power as time passes .... as resistance is lowered by thermal decay ... what used 10 watts consumes 90 at eight month time & start to burn before the year ends ... money savings none ... power saved none ... consumer ass fucked to benefit power mafia !  Priceless!
