Look, I'll be straight up honest. If you're having to ask- leave it to a professional.
Repairing a microwave can be deadly. There is a capacitor in it that can hold a substantial charge. Unless you know how to discharge it, don't take the microwave apart.
Yes, more than likely it is a thermal fuse- but it's not worth your life.
