I have a huge issue with the for profit prison industry that has now taken over many of our jails and prisons in the United States. They lobby for tougher drug laws that do nothing but make matters worse.

Um, then how exactly do you expect the federal government and mega-banks (aka TBTF) to make billions in profit each month?

Did God not infest Earth with billions of marihuanas?

Every one of the listed cities has had to cut back their police forces. This is probably one of the reasons for the cities becoming crime ridden. Interesting that the bleeding heart dumb Liberals calling for confiscation of all of our guns don't make the connection between fewer cops and their guns on the street and higher crime rates.

Come on, isn't there one other glaring thing that all these cities share? Like a big minority population of Hispanics and blacks?

Those figures speak louder than words can.
They, more than any information I got over the last few years, convince me that something has to give in the US, and this not very far in the future.

We had at least a chance to stop and reverse this trend in November 2012, and instead re-elected the guy who has done more to accelerate the destruction of our cities and society than any other person in the world.

I know that. I was making mention that we had a chance to throw Obama out last year, and didn't, so he will have 4 more years of doing nothing to save our cities, and everything to intensify the conditions that are destroying them.
