I was just thinking about this the other day when listening to the radio and one of the on-air hosts mentioned that everyone at the station was sick with the flu and he just couldn't understand why because everyone there got a flu shot as part of a promo with Walgreens. Interesting...

I don't think for a minute the government or companies like Walgreens want us to be healthy - it's just not profitable.

When I see that Walgreens is offering free flu shots with the implied intention of making people healthy so people don't have to buy all of their over the counter flu medications, and don't have to go to doctors and get prescribed all those expensive pills, and as a result the pharmaceutical industry and doctors don't make even more money -- I call bullshit.

You're damn right there's something with those flu shots.

I'll knock on wood now, but I've never taken a flu shot and I can't remember the last time I was sick...knock on wood again.
