Abraham was from the city of Ur, according to Genesis 11:31. This was the region of Northern Mesopotamia, today which is the northern border of Syria and Turkey.

Joseph's wife, Asenath, was raised in Egypt.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Palestine; which is about 5 miles from Jerusalem, Israel.

Iran used to be known as Persia. In the Bible, Iran is referred to by several different names, Elam is one.

The Bible does not call Iran 'the Lamb of God'. Jesus is 'the Lamb of God'. In the Bible, Israel is referred to as God's 'chosen people'.

OP, you make very good points about how America has fallen away from God. History has shown us time and time again how societies, kingdoms, and civilizations have perished when they did the same. What I would like to point out to you is the nature of the judgement that these historical examples underwent. The judgement that destroyed these nations was judgement from each other. The wicked will destroy themselves, and the meek will inherit what is left. If only people would choose to study history without bias or judgement of their own, they would clearly see this inevitable precedence set before them.

If it is faith in God that troubles you, then perhaps the reality of history might convince you of this precedence. In the story of Daniel, he warned the King of Babylon that if he allowed his kingdom to fall away from God, it would be destroyed. The king scoffed at Daniel, and his arrogance cost him his kingdom and his life. Whether or not you believe in God is irrelevant, the reality of history speaks for itself.

Thus God is going around smiting and smoting and bringing down brimstone and fire. God stopped all of that after we killed Jesus.

God will Resume and make up for lost time at the Judgement Period after the end of the Age. But until then, there will be no smoting or brimstone or judging.

I worked in a Jewish nursing home,, very strict on the diet,Everything was kosher.
I was the cook. They ate allot of tuna, the rabies and administer ate every day. That's all they ate. Pork and shell fish, didn't meat and dairy.
personally I eat allot of ham and pork,tuna ,all kinds of fish, cheese burgers ect.
Not beef, My body does not like steroids. I'm obviously not Jewish.
In those days, pigs dwelt in mud, in pure, carried disease. shell fish are scavengers, eating crap of the bottom of the ocean. Now a days things aren't much better, using chemicals, slurry mixes for cows made from slaughtered cows. gross.
now a days in Israel they raise pigs on platforms as so they don't touch the ground.

Yes, there is a duality in America. It is the mystery babylon in concept. Where there is great promise there are also the greatest efforts by darkness to destroy. The effort would be from its beginnings. The US is a spiritual graft of Israel due to our forefathers making a covenant with the one true God through his Son.

To a degree, this seems like a present day concept, but is it? If you consider that our Savior has control from beginning to end then wouldn't this apply to civilizations in time before his work in flesh on this earth as well? Of course.

So, here you have the beginning of the first resurrection. Where did those people go? If man is appointed to die only one time then they either walk amongst you to testify to the truth or ascended with Christ. If the truth, light and the way is Jesus Christ then a true believer understands that the very life of Jesus is the only truth in this time. We have to return to that time. He speaks to the endtimes as though it is in his presence. Does this evil generation stand before our resurrected Lord?
