look at the stories with jesus from the bible, nowhere did he tell to poor souls to repent. when a tortured soul prayed to him for help, he ordered the demons to let that soul in peace.

The ENTIRE Purpose Christ Was Manifest into the world and Gave HIS Life was to Enable our Coming Unto The Father and doing so required the stain of sin be removed so The Father could Look Upon us and Receive our surrender.
Ezekiel 36 Witnesses and describes The Born-Again Life in verses 26 & 27:
26 Witnesses that The Father Will Give us "a New Heart Of (HIS) Flesh"
27 Witnesses that HE Will Enable us to KNOW and Do HIS Will and live w/o sin.
Christ Jesus IS The Way Unto The Father, not the whole focus of God's Plan.
Jesus Does The Father's Will.
But Knowing HIM Requires you to be one "Who Doeth The Will Of MY Father which IS In Heavan" Matt 7:21 which Witnesses HIS Context for Knowing us as Christians and Relationship with us.
Done mighty works, cast-out demons, prophesied? v.22
It don't matter unless you are Ezekiel 36:26-27 Born-Again because w/o Father's New Heart you remain a "worker of iniquity" and in v.23 of matt 7, Jesus Witnesses "Depart from me you workers of iniquity, I Know you NOT!"
If you Love God and Know WHO Christ IS, then The Father Has Called your heart.
