Is anybody else just bored as hell with everything???

Same here. Bored with life. Wake up, work, sleep. Repeat. Nothing interests me anymore. Kinda disappointed that 2012 wasn't the end of the world. Was looking forward to it.

I don't have the slightest idea why I'm here. It is like a prison.

Last several days I have been so restless. I switch TV chanels and think all the shows are for morons. I feel like I am suppose to do something or move, but do what and move where? I have no family but my son wh lives with me. I am sooo bored

I think the Unibomber was right. The world has become too comfortable and we no longer have the opportunity to really accomplish anything meaningful. By meaningful the Unibomber was saying that going out and shooting a deer so that you and your family don't starve is an accomplishment that brings real pride and a sense of fufilment to a person's life.

Think about it and I'm sure you can imagine how unboring a life of mere survival would be. I suppose that's why we have always had mountain men, prospectors, sailors and that sort. They live what we would call a hard and shitty life, but every day they remain breathing is a great victory for them.

wash, rinse, repeat. I took up drinking to alleviate the boredom but it stacks on the weight and my stomach doesn't like it.

you may be on something, humans evolved on survival. Our bodies were bred to move. Our brains dont have to be cunning, all we do is drive to work and come home eat and sit ,watching stupid TV programs, We are caged animals

It wasn't me it was the Unibomber. His manifesto contains more real original thought than any 500 books you can take out of the library. I think he was certainly correct on his views of what constitutes real accomplishment.

Somebody said nothing worth doing ever comes easy. We have it far too easy. And let me just say that moving someplace equaly as easy will be no solution to your restlessness.

Had a week of above average temps so I did my spring cleaning in mid winter.Even repainted a couple of rooms just to try and motivate myself.Did some redecorating too.
While I had a busy week now its another Monday and its back to the same ole,same ole.
While I am very thankful for all I have I am still lacking for a meaningful life I suppose.
I see a therapist occasionally just to have someone to talk privately to and she seems at a loss when I ask her how does one sets goals now since there are no worthwhile goals anymore etc..She tries to mumble through reasons which make no real sense.Its as if we face each new day without a purpose.

YES! has been really getting to me the past week.
So sick of the usual stuff.
Cant afford to do anything adventurous :(

I wanna back pack around some foreign terrain.
climb a fucking mountain.
go on a paintball tournament.

I was also looking forward to the 21st being the end, just so i could have a chance to do something. Even if it is to struggle to survive. I would then have the opportunity to be innovated and create things etc.
