[ link to www.youtube.com] We have lots of idiots that bike to work in the winter. I'm always afraid they are going to slip right under the wheels of my car. On the other hand, riding the trails in the winter is a blast!! [ link to www.youtube.com] My old Dutch bike doesn't work so well in the snow, you need those mountain bike tires. Groovy! Nice wipe-out at 30 seconds! Did you have winter tires of some sort?! Mountain bike tires. they are all knubbly and extra wide for grip. That and good brakes are all you need for winter biking, well maybe a snowsuit to keep you warm too. This morning there were numerous bikers going to work . It's -30c today. Crazy bastards. WOW, -30 is COOOOOOLD. I remember those days. You step out, breath in and your nostrils FREEZE up, LITERALLY!
