I feel like you pulled the words right out of my head...I also have researched and searched for answers for the last few years...at times literally feeling like I was going insane, not even in control as to figure out why I wanted to search for something so bad, when what I realized is that it is within. I once saw a video of a guy testing the effect of music on plants.

On the first try he played heavy metal for x amount of time, and on the second try he played calm classical music for x amount of time. I know i have it somewhere on my computer, but i cant find it at the moment.

Anyways, the noisy music made the plants bend away, and the calm music attracted the plants toward the speakers.

Plants reacts to music/sound/vibration/frequencys and so do we, but the human ear cannot hear them all, although we very much react to it.

A forrest is FULL of healing music which you cannot hear =)
