There are basically only two "versions" of God sold today. The first version is the "god" who expects nothing in you to change, who tells you that sin and lawlessness don't exist, who tells you that all paths are equal and that man is basically "god" like itself if you'll just fall for its lying signs and wonders. . The second version is your Creator who has identified the reason for your separation from Him - sin - and has provided the way to overcome this condition, and who tells you that His Spirit will transform you through obedience and testing to strengthen you in your Faith, and who impresses upon you his qualities of justice, charity, compassion and mercy.

The "me me me" generation is indoctrinated to love the first version and reject the second. Therefore, knowing the time that we live in, the second is obviously the Truth.

There is only one way to find the true God of Heaven and Earth, OP, and that is seeking through humble prayer. It is categorically stated that it is the Father who calls and that it is the Father who enables faith, so if you are experiencing a tug, you may be being led to seek Him. Open your heart and humble your pride, and pour out your heart in prayer. It is He that searches all hearts.

Faith leads you into the body of believers which is not one denomination, but rather His vast body of brothers and sisters who love one another and who seek His glory, not their own.
