This is a silly thing to lose your livelihood over. If it comes up in the future, please remember this: Your opinion doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter if you're right, it doesn't matter if you're wrong.
Your job is to take care of yourself and your family, so pick your battles and try not to let emotion rule you. that can be hard to do, but it's all we have, most days.
No matter what happens, you have to make it through the day intact whenever possible. That means employed and able to feed your family too, not just alive.
