Next will be issue rock blending adult contemporary. one of the married members of the band will make some boast about epic tantric sex, and then have to retract it. They will break up and work on solo projects. then reunite for a tour. filling stadiums. spontaneous engagements in local clubs they enjoyed in their authentic days. You obviously don't know much about music and VST effects but it's okay. :) Btw, most of the song doesn't use any special effects at all. Well actually i do now a bit about Virtual Studio Technology. Beeing a owner of a small musicstudio in my own basement consisting of Cubase 6 on a pc, Logic Pro on an old Mac, an Roland MV-8000, analog Moog and a newly bought Novation Ultranova - wich is hell of a lot of fun! |

Well then please point out in which part of the song such a 'autotune' effect is used ? I own a home studio myself and produce beats and music for myself and others, some I'm pretty familiar with what you have listen and more. Btw it's not layered on all the main vocals if you want to claim that. If, then you probably mean a different effect. |

It might have a small footnote in the genre, but its not doing anything significant that others weren't doing but not calling it "Dub". F&*#%ing hate how everyone wants to invent some new movement that is NOT original. Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war! |

And i tend to use the term "Auto-Tune" for most voice -altering effects used in todays music, comes from jokes me and my pals have on behalf of these sounds. ;) EDIT: BTW i didn´t mean to offend you by my statement, as you clearly come off as. Everyone has his own taste. Just stated what i feel after hearing said song. Last Edited by Fännek on 01/22/2013 12:43 AM |

Anyway I understand where you are coming from, but the effects in the song come nowhere close to the regular garbage that is used in the mainstream industry. As far as my ears can tell, this song isn't using and effect what so ever, that corrects the voice through pitching. |

Veresanctus User ID: 26108394 United States 01/22/2013 11:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The song seems to try and make me want to fight for freedom, taking action, getting physical... BUT since my spirit wrestles with my flesh it fails to make me do anything but appreciate some of the words. GET SAVED: Thread: Are you SAVED from DAMNATION? "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another." -- Galatians 5:14-26 |
